An Overwhelming Response: Summer Was a Hit!

Metamora Film Festival would like to thank the overwhelming response to our summer, 2017 online film festival.  We had a record submission season!  Our staff is currently going over all the submissions carefully and will award official selections by September 23rd.  Thank you for your patience.

Our fall festival starts on October 1st.  We’ve also confirmed our partnership with Portland, Oregon’s Open Signal, an organization that empowered thousands of Portlanders to access video and television technology during its 35-year history.  This is wonderful news!  Winners of each festival (held 3x per year) will have their film aired on Open Signal.  Via their five cable channels, Open Signal reaches over 400,000 homes in the Portland metro area, broadcasting work made in our community 24 hours a day.

Just another benefit to submit to Metamora Film Festival!

Sincerely,
Matt Duhamel, Festival Director
